Open Door Center Church: An Open & Accepting Congregation

Open Door Center is an Open and Accepting Congregation.

This means that our doors are OPEN to ALL people, regardless of who they are. All who come in peace are welcome.

Because we are open to ALL people who come in peace, we see no reason to make use of the the ever-increasing number of letters in the alphabet soup of group “identities,” which only serve to emphasize our differences, and ultimately lead to more and more division. Instead, we choose to accentuate our oneness in Christ Jesus, while honoring every individual’s uniqueness.

“For you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28

Our congregation is ACCEPTING of ALL people, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey. (Although, we encourage each other to not be satisfied to stay where we are in our spiritual walk: we affirm each other in going farther with Jesus by going deeper into His Word and reaching higher into Heaven!)

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19
